B&B Balzago Poggio is a panoramic terrace overlooking Bobbio. Surrounded by nature and immersed in complete silence, It is located just a few minutes from the historic centre by car, but also within easy walking distance for a pleasant stroll.

It is the ideal place for a truly relaxing holiday, where you can leave behind the rush of everyday life and rediscover local traditions. Here, time is marked by sunrise and the changing of the seasons, with nature playing an essential role in daily life

The property is housed in a historic farmhouse, nestled in a green rural setting that was originally used for growing vines. The restoration was carried out with great attention to detail, from the careful selection of materials to the high-quality furnishings, seeking a balance between tradition and elegance, style and functionality.

You will appreciate the original architectural features, such as stone walls, solid wood beams and many other objects that evoke a past that still lives on at Balzago Poggio.

One room has been created in the recently restored old farmhouse, while the second room – currently being set up – is located on the upper floor of the main house.

Both rooms are furnished with great attention to detail and equipped with modern comforts, including air conditioning, underfloor heating, a private bathroom with walk-in shower, hairdryer, courtesy toiletries, wardrobe, minibar, cutlery, and everything you need for breakfast.

For breakfast, you will find a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle for tea and herbal infusions, and a selection of biscuits. We will always do our best to accommodate your specific needs.

Breakfast can be enjoyed in your room or, weather permitting, on the private terrace, near the accommodation, or under the old hay barn.

The property also features a sunbathing area with loungers and a solar shower, known as “Il Frutteto”, as well as a relax area, “Il Fico”, furnished with a table and comfortable armchairs – perfect for enjoying an aperitif or spending time reading.

Free private parking is available just a few steps from your room.

Balzago Poggio is the perfect place for a restful escape, but also an excellent starting point for walks through the woods or along the Trebbia and Aveto rivers, where you can discover waterfalls and crystal-clear natural pools ideal for refreshing swims.

Guests can also visit the beautiful medieval castles of the area and explore cultural routes rich in history, legends, and traditional artisan workshops.
